After their unresolved reunion in The Road Home: Catwoman last month, I was afraid the Bruce-Selina relationship would be put on hold after his return. So I was wholly gratified to read Batman Incorporated #1 and Batman: Streets of Gotham #17 yesterday, and see Selina play a prominent role in both, alongside Bruce professionally as well as personally. (And she even showed up in Batman #704, standing up to Dick's attempted dismissal of Catgirl.)
SPOILER ALERT:
When, in Streets, Selina mistakes the (big) guy in the batsuit for the other (smaller) guy in the batsuit, and Bruce says, "Selina. It's me," before they embrace–amazing. (Of course, Paul Dini wrote one of the romantic Bruce-Selina stories with "Heart of Hush," so it's no surprise he should continue his great work here. Too bad he also wrote a terrific flirtation between Bruce and Zatanna!)
Don't mind me, I'm a sucker for this stuff.
Now if we could just get a Catwoman title back in place of Gotham City Sirens… don't get me wrong, that book has been enjoyable, but mainly because of Selina (at least for me).
